Understanding the Grind Curve

Before the endgame, the experience required to level up is manageable. Most players will reach level 100-200 through normal story progression and occasional Item World dives without any special strategy.

Beyond level 200, the experience requirements begin to grow steeply. Each level requires significantly more experience than the last, and the marginal power gain from a single level diminishes noticeably. This is where the grind begins in earnest.

The key insight is that reaching 9999 is not a single-session achievement. It is the product of multiple Reincarnation cycles, each of which resets you to level 1 but compounds your base stats so that subsequent runs are faster and more powerful than the last.

Phase 1: Story Completion (Level 1–200)

During the main story, focus on:

• Completing chapters to unlock the Dark Chocolate Assembly and Item World
• Passing the Item World access bill as early as possible

Phase 2: Item World Grinding (Level 200–1000)

Once the main story is complete, your primary activity shifts to the Item World. This is the most efficient source of both character experience and equipment upgrade progress.

Use the Cheat Shop to configure your reward multipliers:

• Set Experience multiplier to maximum
• Set Enemy Strength to a level that you can reliably clear without dying
• Set Item Level Up Rate to maximum to accelerate your equipment progression

At these levels, you should be able to clear 5-10 floors of a Legendary item per run, earning substantial EP and experience per session.

Phase 3: Reincarnation Cycles (Level 1000–9999)

Once you are consistently clearing high-level Item World content, it is time to begin Reincarnation cycles. The optimal approach is:

1. Push to the highest level you can comfortably reach (typically 500-1500 on your first serious push)
2. Reincarnate
3. Return to the Item World with your improved base stats
4. Progress faster on the second cycle due to higher base stats
5. Repeat

Each Reincarnation takes approximately the same amount of game time, but your absolute power level increases with each cycle. After 5 cycles, you will be clearing content that would have taken hours per cycle on the first cycle.
